General information

During my school years in Thailand I captained the school swim team with a squad of over 300
members and led competitive teams to victory in international events around Southeast Asia,
including Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taipei, Phuket and Bangkok
and I competed at Thai National level. The significant dedication and commitment required to
compete at this level engendered close comradery and a family-orientated support culture and
mentality. As Captain, I developed further skills in leadership and collaborative working with
fellow athletes, the coaches and support staff. I developed strong moral principles and
understanding of the importance of responsibility and ownership of team decisions whilst
maintaining my authority. I learnt the importance of communication and the requirement to
respect the opinions of others, and to inspire, engender trust and ensure harmonious working
relationships whilst maintaining the school values and standards. I gained further leadership and
teamwork skills in obtaining bronze, silver and gold Duke of Edinburgh International Awards in
outward bound activities in Thailand during which I obtained my Royal Yachting Association
competency certificate on a 100 year-old classic yawl on a 5-day voyage off the coast of the UK.
I possess a strong drive and outgoing personality and I am often involved in stage events,
performances, fashion shows, modelling and social media organisation.
